How we were born.
Get Foodies was born out of a real conversation between our founder and a restaurateur in Portugal, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
His restaurant struggle to stay profitable – overwhelmed by marketplace commissions – reflected a bigger, industry-wide pain.
Recognizing a market opportunity fueled by digital adoption and young consumer behaviors, our founder combined restaurant field research, formal consulting studies in Brazil, and digital marketing education to shape the vision for Get Foodies.
